The goal and execution of the disc golf creator’s cup
Disc Golf Creators Cup
We just announced what we believe could be the biggest disc golf creator event ever: The Dynamic Discs Creators Cup. 16 disc golf creators battling it out on YouTube for a grand prize (to be announced soon) and a place at the DGPT Creator Challenge.

This idea started when the Ace Bros and Nate Conkel (two disc golf creators) started posting about the idea on Instagram. We had done a creators cup back in 2022 and had some success but it didn’t materialize into an annual series. When they reached out to us about being a part of it, we knew we could partner with them to make something special!
The goal was to invite the biggest creators in the space as well as up and coming creators to introduce them to a larger audience and give them a chance to earn a spot at the Creator Challenge that the Pro Tour puts on in Des Moines. Once a few key creators committed, everything started to snowball. It is important to mention that not everyone we reached out to could make it, but we had to move forward with as many as we could!
Once we knew we had J-Milly, Bodanza, Broderic, and a few other faces you recognize committed, we began discussions with Dynamic Discs on what it would look like for them to be a part of it. That is when things really took off! Their support for the event was unreal and we cannot wait for you to find out what these creators are playing for.
We decided only to have one player from Foundation represent our brand in this series so that the other 4 media members could work as 4 camera men to ensure we had coverage of all 16 creators both while they were throwing shots and interacting with each other. More will be revealed as we get closer to the April 30th release date, but, as you can imagine, when you get this many creators on teams against each other, things get ELECTRIC!
The goal of a series like this is to pool the larger audience of people who enjoy the content that disc golf creators make into one place with the hopes that the algorithm on YouTube will see that momentum and push it beyond what a normal video can do. Obviously it will not have the reach that something like the internet invitational in golf has, but hopefully it can engage casual disc golfers and non-disc golf players in a unique way that hasn’t been done before.
Do I think that this piece of content alone will drastically grow the game of disc golf? No. Do I think that consistently trying things like this and thinking outside of the box with disc golf content creation will? ABSOLUTELY!
1 Corinthians 10:31 “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
